Bournemouth Town Centre BID are supporting the BAPTAs – Bournemouth and Poole Tourism Awards for the 3rd year running, previously known as the Bournemouth Tourism Awards, and will be sponsoring the Family Eating Experience Award for the 2nd consecutive year.

The Family Eating Experience Award celebrates the venues who offer specifically excellent services for families visiting the area of Bournemouth and Poole. This may consist of baby changing facilities, children’s knives and forks, special offers for children, or kids eat for free!

Eating out for families can be challenging at times, and it’s these restaurants and cafes that make it easier for tourists visiting the area to still be able to enjoy a meal out.

There are ever changing new eateries around Bournemouth and Poole and the surrounding areas, even more so with the arrival of the BH2 building in Bournemouth Square.

Jackie Phillipson from BAPTAs says, “The competition is high and last year winners were Flirt café bar for having the best of everything, being a quirky and welcoming café/bar with great food and atmosphere as well as plenty of games to entertain the kids while the parents can relax, at any time of the day.”

Paul Kinvig, Chief Operating Officer of Bournemouth Town Centre BID said, “The Town Centre BID understands the importance of the hospitality sector to the conurbation. It’s essential to recognise & celebrate best practice, achievement and encourage continual innovation and development! The BAPTA’s are an important part of this and we’re delighted to be sponsoring an award”
