VACANCY: TOWN RANGER
A vacancy has arisen for a Town Centre Ranger working predominantly at weekends to enhance the present workforce in Bournemouth Town Centre. This entails working 30.5 hours between Thursday and Sunday covering the normal opening hours of retail businesses.
The role of the Town Ranger is to provide a visible, approachable, uniformed presence on the streets of the entire Town Centre BID area acting as the eyes and ears of the company, dealing directly with a defined range of issues and reporting any unusual activity to the appropriate authorities. A major part of the role involves acting as a welcome host for visitors providing directions to businesses, places or events or answering questions or generally assisting with other issues.
Normally operating as part of a team but equally able to work on your own you will be making decisions to promote Bournemouth Town Centre providing a warm welcome and to help instil an attractive, safe and secure environment for people to work, live and visit this very popular premier holiday destination.
