AGAINST BUSINESS CRIME

Bournemouth Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID), Bournemouth Coastal BID and Poole BID, along with our delivery partner UK Partners Against Crime (UKPAC), have come together within a partnership-based action group to create this BCP conurbation wide Against Business Crime BCRP.

In collaboration with the Dorset Police Crime Commissioner, Dorset Police and BCP Council our objective is to tackle and reduce crime and disorder affecting our businesses and the wider community.

We have one aim in mind, to enhance the safety and security of businesses from retail, hospitality and tourism sectors across the region. Our goal is to create a resilient and connected business community that actively works together to prevent and deter crimes affecting businesses within the conurbation by way of a crime management software system called SentrySIS.

SentrySIS is a secure cloud-based platform that will support us in the reduction and management of crime in a much more efficient way. The core of the system is simple to use where technology does all the hard work so that our Against Business Crime partnership can focus on running the partnership successfully.
Not only does the system save time and people resource, the software offers a secure solution for data sharing and crime analysis between all stakeholders operating in a close proximity area, across borders or wider geographical locations.

This ‘turn-key’ solution is fully functional on any desktop computer, tablet or mobile device connected to the internet with no additional software needed, so our businesses will have 24/7 access and a user friendly interface to not only report crime, but also crucially to receive crime updates back. It also has a ‘Chat’ function for immediate message communication with local Users.
