Join The BID Board

Your Town Centre BID represents more than 700 levy paying businesses across all sectors and we feel it is important to have a range of voices, views, and backgrounds on the board.

The board, which can have up to 19 directors has several roles including upholding and promoting the BID’s vision and objectives, delivering on our programme efficiently and effectively and encouraging the active support of businesses and partners.

It’s a voluntary role and directors do not receive any remuneration.

The board currently meets about once every six weeks for around two hours on a Wednesday afternoon.

Town Centre BID chair, Martin Davies said: “Our board plays a key role in the focus and direction of the Bournemouth Town Centre BID.

“It’s important to have representatives from across the spectrum of levy paying businesses and I would encourage anyone who is interested to contact me for an informal chat in the first instance.

“A vibrant and diverse board is good for the BID, good for the levy payers and good for the future direction of the Town Centre.”
