Visit from Rugby Rangers Head of Security

Patrick Mead MBE recently travelled down from Rugby to meet with local police, council teams, BBRC (Bournemouth Businesses Against Retail Crime – which operates the Shopwatch radio scheme, and the town’s Night Time Economy Coordinator.

The meetings was an informal opportunity for all the agencies and groups currently operating in the town to understand the benefits that a BID team of town rangers can bring. In every case they recognised that the presence of Town Rangers would allow them to do their jobs more effectively, and would make a significant difference with such issues as rowdiness, anti-social behavoir, shop-lifting, begging, illegal street trading and other nuisances for traders and shoppers.

The meeting was also reported by the Echo and you can read more here
