Summer Live is back in Bournemouth

Summer Live, a free programme of live music and alfresco art is back in Bournemouth and helping to draw more visitors into the town centre. Following the success of last year’s event, the Town Centre BID is again one of the main sponsors.

More than 50 acts have been booked to appear, mostly in a garden-themed bar area in The Square but also at a number of different business venues across the town. BID Manager Steve Hughes said: “Summer Live adds vibrancy and colour to the town centre which is great for our businesses. Office and shop workers stay around longer in the  evenings to soak up the atmosphere and at weekends we hope to attract new customers. With some of the cheapest parking on the south coast, summer sales and great bars and restaurants, it’s a great time to come and see what Bournemouth has to offer.”

Summer Live runs throughout July and until August 14 from 5pm every day in The Square and at weekend lunchtimes.
