It was great to see so many businesses taking part in Summer Live this year. The six-week programme of FREE music, art and family entertainment in The Square and the Lower Gardens attracted good crowds and added vibrancy and colour to the town centre. But it was also a great opportunity for businesses to move out of their stores and extend their reach by taking up beach huts free of charge to sample their products or market their business.
Those who did so appreciated the added exposure.
