September’s town centre visitor statistics

The latest footfall data for the town centre showed a total of 3,019,046 visitors for September, unsurprisingly down on the busy month of August. The number was also down year on year, but only around half that of the coastal average across the region.

The average dwell time in the town centre was 205 minutes with an average of 1.4 indoor locations visited. The percentage of weekly and monthly visitors was 11 percent and 40 percent respectively.
