Return of Arts by the Sea Festival

The Arts by the Sea Festival is one of two major forthcoming events being supported by the Town Centre BID. This free festival returns from September 30 to October 2 and is an inspirational and diverse celebration of the arts featuring family friendly performances and installations in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

There are opportunities for everyone to engage in arts and culture. The 2022 Festival theme is ‘PLAY’ influencing a range of music, dance, theatre, installations, and spectacles exploring the theme in all its forms.  There is a spectacular opening ceremony at the Town Hall with the House Gospel Choir and a mass audience sing-a-along.

Brandon Block will be performing from a sequinned DJ booth, there are displays showcased from the GB Olympic skateboarding team and a cavernous walk-in sculpture.

With Bournemouth Town Centre BID support, the festival encourages increased visits to local attractions, shops, cafes, restaurants, and accommodation.
