VISITORS to Bournemouth town centre in the run up to Christmas can take advantage of newly reduced parking deals with NCP using their contactless app and can also pre-book.
The company, working in partnership with the Bournemouth Town Centre BID, has launched the new prices, only available via the NCP ParkPass App or Pre-book, allowing users to access special ticketless deals with quick cashless payments.
Shoppers and visitors can park at Bournemouth’s Richmond Hill (The Square) and Terrace Road car parks and enjoy two hours for £2.00 or four hours for £4.00. To benefit from these new prices the customer must have the NCP ParkPass App installed and registered before parking. Customers must use the unique code SHOPBOURNEMOUTH, and instructions will be on the NCP website, https://www.ncp.co.uk/parking-solutions. Parking sessions can be extended remotely and expiry notifications are automatically sent. Tailored parking options are also available. The app can be downloaded from Apple or Google Play.
Chief Operating Officer of the Bournemouth Town Centre BID, Paul Kinvig, said: “This is a great new initiative for those coming into town by car for their Christmas shopping or to enjoy our excellent hospitality sector. Or both. And of course, the app can be used after Christmas too, so it’s also a convenient, long term boost for the town centre.”
“This is another great example where we have been able to work in partnership for the benefit of businesses and visitors.”
Commercial Manager for NCP, Emma Palmer, added: “We are delighted to introduce even lower prices via our app to help support Bournemouth, the app means that customers can experience a contactless parking experience, hopefully helping people to feel more confident when coming in to Bournemouth. We know it’s an incredibly challenging time on the high street and we are pleased to do our bit to help, making things just that little bit easier and cheaper.”
