Conservation Consultation - Copy

Bournemouth Borough Council is asking for your say on what happens next with three areas of the town centre – Old Christchurch Road, West Cliff and Poole Hill, and East Cliff. All three areas have a legal status of special architectural or historic interest, called Conservation Areas. However, all three are also under immense pressure for change, with Government set housing targets likely to rise.

The council have prepared three documents, prepared by Donald Insall Associates, which aim to address Town Planning decision making, which is a legal process. This means the full documents are long, but easy to digest summaries are also available.

The consultation is now open and will run until 31 August 2018. All information is available at: www.bournemouth.gov.uk/conservationconsult
