Our AGM

Thank you to those who came along to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week. We hope you found it useful. For those of you who couldn’t make it, take a look at this short video.

We are proud of what we’ve achieved for our levy payers this year, including the launch of the Bournemouth Town Centre Gift Card, Christmas Tree Wonderland (including a Best Event win at the ATCM Awards), seed funding and supporting a variety of events, our Town Rangers (including the recovery of £25K of stolen stock), support of the night time economy, renewal of the Purple Flag Award, our rapid response cleaning team (an extra 2,500 bags of litter removed from the streets), new recycling bins, 2 Big Bournemouth Clean Ups, a deep clean of Bournemouth streets, money saving offers for levy payers on commercial waste, renewable energy, energy systems and advertising, and much more. There is always more to do however, and we have no intention of resting on our laurels.

We are pleased to welcome Jay Onn and Cllr Mark Howell to our board of directors, and look forward to working with them over the coming year. Jay owns the Third Side in the Triangle and is representing Independent Retail. Mark is representing the Local Authority and has the portfolio for Culture, Economy and Regeneration.
