Nutcracker Trail – opportunities for businesses

Exciting news – as part of this year’s Christmas celebrations organised by the Town Centre BID, we are planning a brand new attraction – the Nutcracker Trail.

There will be 15 6ft Nutcrackers dotted around the town centre, with children and their families encouraged to follow the trail and find as many Nutcrackers as they can. The Nutcrackers will be placed strategically to cover the entire BID area, from Lansdowne to Poole Hill – the aim is to get people exploring the town more and to lead them past as many of your businesses as possible!

20 thousand trail booklets will be produced and delivered to local schools and hotels. As part of this, there is the opportunity for up to 6 businesses to have a voucher for their business placed into the trail booklet for free.

This opportunity will be first come, first served. Please contact us at news@towncentrebid.co.uk to check availability before producing artwork.

If you are one of the businesses chosen, this is what we will need from you:

• You must supply us with artwork for the voucher in pdf format. The dimensions are 61.5mm wide by 60 mm high. The artwork must include the offer and any T&Cs.
• The voucher must be a simple, attractive offer that is not usually available (e.g. £5 off your next shop with us), but do bear in mind it will be going to up to 20K people, so make sure it will not cause you any issues if lots of people take it up.
• Due to the targeted nature of this attraction for families, the offer must be family friendly.
• Artwork must be received by Mon 10 October.
