We are delighted to announce that the Metropole Market will return to Lansdowne in 2018, from May to October, with a number of themes already confirmed, including ‘Alice in Wonderland’ in May, a ‘New Orleans Jazz Festival’ in June as part of the Bournemouth Jazz by the Sea Festival, and, back by popular demand, a Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ theme for October.
Please note there will be no market in August.
The Metropole Market (named after the area’s former historic Metropole Hotel which was bombed in WW2) started on 24 September 2017 and ran on the last Sunday of the month during 2017, bringing vintage and artisan stalls, arts and crafts to Lansdowne.
