Logging crime over Christmas

by | Dec 20, 2022 | News

Bournemouth town centre businesses are being reminded over the festive period to report retail and other crime to the police as this will help give a more accurate picture of criminal activity.

Dorset Police, BCP Council and the Bournemouth Town Centre BID are encouraging traders to come forward with their figures on incidents like shoplifting, violence, and other abuse.

The more incidents that are logged, the more evidence is demonstrated to the police for more focused police resources in the town centre.

The quickest and easiest way to get the information to the police is by using the 101-email system.

Several crimes can be reported on one email and all incidents will be logged separately.

◾️Please use 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk for non-aggressive crime with no harm to person

◾️Call 999 if there is an incident involving physical or verbal abuse.
