The brand new event Halloween In Bournemouth Square is taking place in the town centre for the week building up to festivities. A mobile venue will host free entertainment for children during half term and live music in the evenings from Friday 23rd October til Sunday 1st November.

Each day is programmed with different acts that include spooky shows by Dr Balloonman, Izzy Wizzy and characters Swash and Buckle. Other kids fun boasts an arts and crafts workshop plus free face painting. A special attraction is hosted by the Sustainable Food City where children are encouraged to bring along pumpkins for a festival of carving and recipe making.

The evening comes to life from 6pm with live music from some of Bournemouth’s popular acts such as Lee Rasdall-Dove, Charlie Parris, Rachel More and the closing event with Rock & Blues Co.

Halloween In Bournemouth Square is supported by the Bournemouth Town Centre BID. Chairlady, Lisa Tucker comments ‘This free week long event aims to offer top quality activities for families to enjoy in the town centre. Bringing people into The Square, the Halloween spectacular will be an event for all ages not to be missed’.

The event is also supported by Absolute Music and the new what’s on app, Hollabox. As well as shopping and dining, Bournemouth town centre is the place to be and welcomes Halloween fun.
