Here at Bournemouth Town Centre BID, we have been driving sales of our Bournemouth Town Centre Gift Card ahead of Christmas. We’re determined to keep spend within our local business community, and every penny from every card bought is locked into the Town Centre BID area and goes directly to town centre businesses.
We have significant promotion in partnership with the Bournemouth Echo and LocalIQ, including digital, editorial and full page adverts, two major local magazines published by BCP Council & IMS Group (Dorset), on air campaign with Hot Radio with 12 adverts per day plus interviews, and outdoor adverts.
We also have an upcoming platform in the new year with Yellow Buses, encouraging people who have received cards for Christmas to spend them in January and February.
If you are one of the 80+ businesses that accepts the Gift Card, please make sure your signs and stickers are displayed in a prominent place, and ensure your staff all know about the card, to help you maximise sales.
