Easter Monday FREE Family Fun Day

The Triangle, Bournemouth

 There’s lots for children to do this Easter Monday at The Triangle in Bournemouth – and it’s all FREE.

The Bournemouth Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) is staging its first Easter Family Fun Day with a variety of activities and events to suit children of all ages.

Live entertainment will be provided by the Funky Little Singers, Dr Balloonman, the Absolute Music Workshop and The Piano Man, Matt Black.

But there will be a host of other activities, including free face painting, circus workshops, arts and crafts and other stalls.

Steve Hughes, the town centre BID manager, said: “The Triangle has a great public space and lots of really good businesses and a strong community feel.

“Most of the shops, cafes and bars will be open and we hope families will come to enjoy the event but also to see what The Triangle and Poole Hill area of Bournemouth has to offer.

“It’s a real opportunity for businesses at that end of town to market themselves and the response has been fantastic.”

Peter Moody, co-owner of the Triangle’s Flirt Cafe Bar, said:“This sort of event is exactly what The Triangle is all about. Community and enjoying the open spaces we have. We are thrilled that Steve and his team at the BID have organised this. We support it wholeheartedly and hope that everyone supports it too”
