Dorset Moon

 An upcoming event in the town centre which has already been generating a huge amount of interest locally is ‘Dorset Moon’, featuring Luke Jerram’s internationally acclaimed Museum of the Moon, landing in Bournemouth Central Gardens from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June.

The event is completely free and will be supported by a programme of events ‘under the moon’, giving Bournemouth businesses an opportunity to take advantage of increased footfall from visitors and residents with secondary spend. Think of the effect Dippy the Dinosaur had on Dorchester last year (150,000 people with a visitor spend of £2.2 million).
