Alice in Spring launch for levy payers: 5th May 2022

Introduction:
Alice in Spring is a two-day free public access street theatre and interactive installations programme themed around Alice in Wonderland.
Background:
This major event project is supported by the Town Centre BID in conjunction with staff and students of Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Events Management. The aim of the project is to turn Bournemouth Town Centre BID area into a Spring Wonderland for two days that encourages both residents and visitors to go beyond the rabbit hole.
What will take place?
A mixture of live performance and interactive installations which can be accessed at any point during the day (11:00 -18:00). There is also a ticketed version (Beyond The Rabbit Hole) which provides an exclusive premium experience. The ticketed audience will be escorted by the white rabbit to the locations to interact with the street theatre performances, drinking potions and enjoying the Mad Hatter’s tea party.
What Can I Do?
Levy payers have the opportunity to embrace the Wonderland theme by participating in a themed window display and/or themed menu item promotion that will be communicated via a trail map distributed via QR codes at each of the key locations.
