The event features interactive character performances, a full carnival procession, immersive experiences and many more exciting surprises along the way.
Kevin Chambers, Course Lead for the Events Management Course at AUB said: “We are delighted to be staging Alice in Spring again and hope that this establishes the festival as a part of the cultural offering in Bournemouth town centre.
“This year there is something for everyone. We have extended the programme to include opportunities to indulge in a wellbeing experience, exciting theatre, dancing in a carnival parade or disappearing down the rabbit hole.”
The event is a whimsical journey through the looking glass, bringing to life the fantastical world of Alice in Wonderland with a new twist.
Chief Operating Officer of Bournemouth Town Centre BID, Paul Kinvig, said: “Our visitor surveys show this is exactly the kind of thing people want to see and the AUB team is extremely adept at organising and delivering precisely this sort of experience.
“Alice in Spring last year was a great attraction, imaginative, entertaining and hugely popular as well as winning a national award.”
He added: “This themed two day event will transform the town into an immersive, interactive wonderland for all ages.”
Alice in Spring is on from 11am to 4pm each day.
