Bournemouth Town Centre BID is presenting the five-day Bournemouth Comedy Festival from October 4th-8th with top acts at several town centre venues. Tickets go on sale from next Tuesday (August 1st).
BID Business Liaison Officer, Susie O’Neill said: “We are really pleased to support something that is not only fun, new, and different but is also a direct benefit to our levy payers. I really hope this becomes a regular offering in the Bournemouth town centre cultural calendar.”
She added: “It’s great that so many of our town centre businesses are involved in this festival.
“Everyone needs a little bit more affordable fun and this is just the ticket, literally.”
The festival is being curated by Coastal Comedy and its Chief Executive Officer Adrienne Coles said: “This is a fantastic event for the town with some of the stars of comedy in intimate venues.
“With low ticket prices it makes laughing accessible for everyone.”
Evening shows are for over 18s only, weekend children’s comedy is suitable for those aged 12 and under.
The evening performances are priced at only £8 each as this BID project has been supported by funding from BCP Council as part of a government post -Covid recovery grant.
