Town Centre & Lower Gardens
This year, the Lower Gardens will once again be filled with beautiful fairy lights and snowflake projections in a magical Christmas display, leading through the gardens. We have also arranged for additional illuminations throughout the town centre, including a Christmas tree in Beale Place, a Christmas tree and light sculptures at Lansdowne, a giant illuminated teddy bear at the Triangle, and illuminations at Horseshoe Common.
ICE SKATE
16 NOV – 2 JAN
Lower Gardens
The beautiful alpine inspired outdoor ice rink from the Hilton & THAT Group will be returning to the Lower Gardens. This year there are two new features: Rinky Dinks – a separate ice rink just for small children and their parents; and Gliders – an exciting ice bowling team game. Visitors can also enjoy a hot chocolate in the Moguls cafe-bar.

NEW: ALPINE MARKET & ALPINE LODGE
17 NOV – 4 JAN
This year there is a new Christmas Market & Alpine Lodge, courtesy of Seventa Events. The emphasis for the market is on local traders and stocking fillers. The Alpine Lodge will be serving mulled wine, charcuterie meat and cheese boards, and will have a selection of indoor and outdoor seating.

Our monthly Metropole Market at Lansdowne has been proving extremely popular, and there are two more left this year: The Alternative Christmas Fayre on 26 November, and the Christmas Candyland Festival on the 17 December.

The Triangle
The hugely popular Coca Cola Truck will be returning this year, but this time it will be stopping at the Triangle and will be here for 2 days – Thursday 23 November and Friday 24 November.
