#ChangesAreMade campaign comes to Bournemouth

Bournemouth Town Centre BID is supporting the Safer BCP Partnership with their Knife Crime awareness campaign, #ChangesAreMade. The partnership includes BCP Council, Dorset Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

This initiative aims to raise awareness around knife crime, as well as the dangers and health implications of carrying a knife, educating young people through a series of events and activities.

The ‘Changes Are Made’ Day on 21 September in the town centre will celebrate positive activities young people can participate in.

There will be various stands, displays and activities which young people can try on the day including DJ sessions, African Drumming and a Skate Ramp.

There will also be entertainment, singing, bands and dancing by young people in Bournemouth Garden’s Bandstand.

There is no booking required and anyone interested can just turn up.
