As part of the Bournemouth Writing Festival which will be hitting the town centre on Friday 21st-Sunday 23rd April, a sculpture trail for families has been commissioned, with thanks to the Bournemouth Town Centre BID.
Seven animal sculptures – based on a children’s book by a local author – will be placed in BID businesses for families to find. At each sculpture, the children will complete a creative writing activity linked to the animal and story.
The Bournemouth Writing Festival aims to get families out and about, exploring different areas of Bournemouth town centre whilst engaging with our levy payers and encouraging young (and old) minds to explore the wonders of reading and writing.
