Back by popular demand: Emergency First Aid at Work

Following the success of our free Emergency First Aid at Work training in May and June, we are pleased to be able to offer an additional opportunity to attend this popular training on either Thursday 18 September or Friday 19 September.

The 1 day course will cover the following:

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of a First Aider.
• Be able to assess an incident.
• Able to assist an unresponsive casualty.
• Treat a casualty with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.
• Be able to assist a casualty with external bleeding.
• Treat a casualty who is in shock.
• Manage a casualty with a minor injury.
• Treat a casualty that is having a seizure.
• Treating a casualty with a burn.
• Treat a casualty having an anaphylactic shock.

We have a maximum of 12 spaces which will be filled on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of 2 spaces per business. Lunch will be provided.
