Arts By The Sea Festival

The stunning Arts By The Sea Festival will return to Bournemouth from 27-29 September, and we have helped to support one of the main events – the Shademakers Carnival Procession on Sunday 29 September, which will attract thousands of people to the areas around Old Christchurch Road and Horseshoe Common. The organisers of the procession worked with the BID and the Old Christchurch Road Quarter Group to develop the event.

The procession, which starts at 3pm, will see the streets of Bournemouth filled with an array of fabulous, custom-made water creatures and deep sea characters including a huge, 8-metre long whale shark that will take centre stage. Please be aware that there will be a lot of additional people around that afternoon, bringing opportunities for your business.
