Africa Comes to Bournemouth

26 & 27 June

Umoja Arts Network are organizing a weekend of activities to showcase the best of African and Caribbean music, art, food and culture, supported by the Bournemouth Town Centre BID. On Saturday 7th August, they will be at Beale Place and on Sunday 8th August they will be at the Triangle. Activities will include drumming workshops, African dancing, live music, crafts stalls, hair wrapping tasters, storytelling and spoken word.

Umoja would like to involve you in collaborations over the weekend. This could be having a themed menu, drink or having a solo event on your premise, playing African Caribbean related music to having bespoke decoration. Participating venues will be highlighted in the event programme and audiences directed towards you as part of the festival.
