Summer Streets proving popular

Summer Streets has proved so popular that we’ve decided to add one more date – Street Art on Saturday 12 July. It will take place on Westover Road between 12 noon and 3pm.

Rain moved our original Street Art event indoors to the Bournemouth Arcade, and we’d like to thank all those who adapted and welcomed us into the Arcade, which was a hive of activity despite the drizzly weather outside.

The next event, Street Music, saw the Lower Gardens filled with people enjoying the sunshine while soaking in entertainment including All About Abba.

Then last weekend Horseshoe Common was filled with family friendly activity with Street Sport.

The final Street Art event on 12 July will include live drawing, caricatures, a window quiz, arts workshop, live violin music, free face painting and free children’s arts and crafts.

Funded and organised by the Bournemouth Town Centre BID, in partnership with BCP Council and the Town Centre Improvement Fund.
