Additional Restrictions Support Grants

BCP Council have launched Stream 1 of the latest grant support scheme, the Additional Restrictions Support Grants, which will see £7.9 million distributed to businesses across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

Funding will be distributed in three streams, each distinct and together aiming to form a comprehensive package of support.

Stream 1 is now open to applications from local businesses:

• who are not registered for business rates and have been mandated to close
• which have remained open but are severely impacted by the closure of other businesses.

Stream 2 is currently being developed and will be used to provide grants directly to businesses in sectors identified to be most in need, including nightclubs, cultural venues and the events industry.

There will also be a third Stream, which the council will use to fund future initiatives to support businesses over the longer term.
