A fantastic example of partnership working

A huge thank you to Arts University Bournemouth who organised and delivered a fantastic event for the Bournemouth Town Centre BID over the weekend of May 13 and 14 – the wonderful Alice In Spring.

There were events in SIX different areas of the town including a  colourful carnival through the town.

There were 5,700 attendees and 56 levy payers took part.

And an astonishing 50% of people said they had visited businesses they do not normally frequent. It was a wonderful effort. Thank you to the students of AUB.

The BID’s Chief Operating Officer, Paul Kinvig, said: “This is a superb example of what you can achieve with real partnership working.

“As I have said before, this is exactly the kind of event that visitors tell us they want to see in our town centre. It was absolutely brilliant.”
